WHY I TEACH
I believe that art makes the world a better place, and I want to empower more people to reach their creative potential.
WHAT I BELIEVE
This is my teaching philosophy:
- I believe that we can learn discipline and focus without killing our joy.
- I believe that singing is a beautiful balance of science and art.
- I believe that your uniqueness is your greatest asset as a performer.
WHAT PEOPLE SAY
"I sought out Emily to get some help strengthening my bridges (passagios) and to make the transitions through them smoother. I also wanted to make sure that my singing approach was a healthy and safe one as I have a demanding performing schedule during the spring and summer months and wanted to avoid any undue strain. She very quickly identified some adjustments that I could make and suggested various excercises to help with a relaxed technique that would improve problems with fatigue and tension. The exercises helped immensely. I highly recommend Emily as a vocal instructor/coach."
